Craig Miller - Writer/Director/Producer

 

Craig is an award - winning filmmaker who's previous short film work earned him a Student OSCAR Nomination and a Student EMMY Award. Growing up in Kentucky, his interest in performing began in the local theater scene. After enrolling at the University of Kentucky as an actor, he shifted his major after two years and began concentrating on directing. Upon graduation from UK, he enrolled in Florida State University's Graduate Film Program. After FSU, he moved to Los Angeles and began working as an assistant director within the Director’s Guild of America. His credits as an AD include “Parks & Recreation”, “Superbad”, "War of the Worlds", "CSI", "Weeds" and several other films and television shows. In 2004, he began working as a freelance writer and director for web-driven media and feature films. “blink” marked his feature film directorial debut. He currently writes and develops feature films, web-driven media, and reality television media while dividing his time between Los Angeles and Louisville.

Greg O'Bryant - Producer/Editor/Music Supervisor/Editor

 

A Kentucky native, Greg attended the University of Louisville. Upon graduation, he entered Florida State University’s highly regarded Film Conservatory. After finishing film school, Greg moved to LA to begin working as an editor. His credits include commercials for NFL Network and Nintendo, television shows such as “Intervention” and “Crime 360”, and feature films including the upcoming “The Lie”. Greg also has been involved as a producer and music supervisor on many indie features including the SXSW winner “Medicine for Melancholy”.

Taylor Phillips - Producer

 

Over the past ten years Taylor Phillips has worked in various capacities on over thirty feature films. Taylor recently finished producing “Splinterheads” - his fifth independent feature film as Producer. His first Independent film titled “Waterborne” won several awards including Best Independent Film at the Harlem International Film Festival as well as a Special Audience award at the South By Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. “Waterborne” can be seen regularly on the Sundance channel.

Taylor is a graduate of University of Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Film Production. While in film school Taylor was mentored by documentary filmmaker Jerry Aronson and the late revolutionary experimental filmmaker Stan Brakhage. His thesis documentary “March of Time”, about his eccentric grandfather, won the 2002 Goldfarb Award for Best Documentary.

While still at university, Taylor got his first break in feature film production working in the assistant director department for the Coen Brothers on their Oscar-nominated “O Brother, Where art Thou?” Since then he has worked on films that include the Coen Brothers' “The Man Who Wasn’t There”, “Intolerable Cruelty”, and “The Ladykillers”. Brett Ratner's films “Red Dragon” and “After the Sunset”, as well as the films “Secondhand Lions”, “Hidalgo”, “Just Like Heaven”, and “Friday Night Lights”.

He recently worked as an assistant director on the feature films, “Land Of The Lost”, “Alvin and the Chipmunks 2”, “No Country for Old Men” as well as 9 episodes of the final season of Lost.

Taylor has worked on location all over the United States and in the Bahamas. He is currently one of the youngest first assistant directors in the Director's Guild of America.

Anisa Qureshi - Producer

 

Anisa Qureshi has worked as a producer on four critically acclaimed independent feature films. Her first film “Waterborne” won a special audience award at the 05' SXSW and "Best Feature Film" at the Harlem International Film Festival and SAIFF. “Waterborne” can be seen on the Sundance Channel. Following the success of "Waterborne", Anisa worked as producer on the recently released comedy "Carbabes" starring Ben Savage (Boy Meets World), and Donnell Rawlings ("The Chappelle Show", "The Wire"). Her next feature, an action film titled "TKO" was released by Lionsgate and won "Best Action Feature" at the Long Beach Action Film Festival. Anisa also produced the romantic comedy "Splinterheads" starring veteran actors Lea Thompson ("Back to the Future") and Chris McDonald ("The House Bunny", "Happy Gilmore"). "Splinterheads" also starrs rising star Rachael Taylor ("Transformers", "Bottleshock") and premiered at the 2009 SXSW Festival. It can be purchased on DVD and is currently touring theatres across the US.

In 2007 Anisa served as Head of Production for the new media company “Spirit EMX”. While at Spirit Anisa worked closely with the CEO, Oscar winning producer and entrepreneur, Rob Fried ("Collateral", "Rudy", "Godzilla").

She has also worked as a free-lance journalist for several publications including RAVE Magazine and Frank 151.

CJ Julian - Director of Photography

 

A native of southwest Virginia, C.J. Julian earned a BFA in Photography from Virginia Intermont College and an MFA in Film from Florida State University's conservatory. He has taught photography at the Penland School and Cinematography at Florida State, were he worked as Visiting Cinematographer in Residence. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles as a set lighting technician and camera operator. Blink is his first feature length credit as Director of Photography.

Gillian Zwick - Costume Designer

 

A central Florida native, Gillian graduated from Florida State University’s Fashion Design and Retail merchandising programs. She fell in love with filmmaking when she started collaborating with the students of FSU's Film Conservancy on short film projects. 'Blink' is her first feature length Costume Designer credit. Gillian is a resident of Los Angeles and is currently working on music videos, commercials, and various costume departments for television and film.

 

Peter H. Chang - Executive Producer

 

Raised in Texas, Peter attended the University of California at Berkeley where he focused on creative writing and earned a degree in English Literature. He is the director and producer of "Lightscapes", an ongoing experiential television series airing on The Discovery Channel that captures renowned Japanese artist Akira Hasegawa's unique “D-K” art form - large-scale, abstract painting-like images projected onto natural landscapes and architecture. Peter is also currently producing and directing "Children of Enlightenment", a documentary about youth culture in Japan, its uniqueness, its creativity, and its reflection of the state of Japan's economy and society. His credits include “Car Babes”, “I’m Seducible”, and “The Matrix Reloaded”. His work as a photographer has been featured in newspapers, magazines, movie posters, and online. He recently photographed Kathy Griffin and her mother Maggie, and was featured on the Emmy award-winning "Kathy Griffin Show" on BRAVO TV.
